Manhattan Sunrise

Recipe information

  • Yield

    serves 2

Ingredients

1/2 cup bourbon, Maker’s Mark preferred
2 tablespoons sweet vermouth
2 dashes bitters
Splash of orange juice
2 tablespoons Chambord
4 maraschino cherries

Preparation

  1. Combine the bourbon, vermouth, bitters, and OJ in a shaker. Shake it up and pour into 2 highball glasses filled with ice. Add the Chambord by tilting the glass and slowly pouring it down the side of the glass (as you would a beer). The Chambord should go straight to the bottom and then rise up slowly through the drink. Garnish each drink with a couple of cherries.
