Ingredients

1/2 cup plain pomegranate juice (such as POM Wonderful)
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

Preparation

  1. Bring pomegranate juice and sugar to a boil in a 1 1/2-quart heavy saucepan over moderate heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved, then simmer until reduced to about 1/2 cup, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice. Cool to room temperature.
