Ingredients

1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
2 serrano chiles, seeded if desired, finely chopped
1 teaspoon finely grated lime zest
1 teaspoon kosher salt

    Process all ingredients in a food processor until smooth.

    Step 2

    DO AHEAD: Butter can be made 5 days ahead. Wrap tightly and chill, or freeze up to 1 month.
