2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 tablespoon apricot brandy, optional

  1. In medium saucepan over moderate heat, stir together all ingredients. Bring to boil, then strain through fine-mesh sieve, discarding solids. (Glaze can be made ahead and refrigerated, covered, up to 1 week.)
